Gründen@Würzburg and the Würzburg Junior Chamber are once again selecting the best startups in Würzburg!

Vote for the most innovative startup projects and young companies from the city and district of Würzburg as well as the entire Mainfranken region in the categories “Global Hero” and “Local Hero,” and help decide who will receive the €10,000 media budget from the Mainpost and the €1,000 prize money from Gründen@Würzburg or the Wirtschaftsjunioren.

On the big stage at the Mainfranken Theater in Würzburg, the founders’ pitches will receive significant attention.

Nominated teams for the Würzburg Startup Award have not yet been determined - the application phase for participating startups runs until May 19, 2026. The nominees will be announced on our website thereafter.

The jury for the 11th Würzburg Startup Award 2026 will once again feature a high-caliber lineup.

But: The jury holds only 50% of the votes to be cast; the remaining 50% belong to the audience. So sign up, come on by, get to know Würzburg’s best startup ideas, and vote for your favorite team!
