Overview of Current Funding Programs

Support opportunities at EU, federal, and state level

Funding programs are a key instrument of government economic policy at the European, national, and regional level. In times of rapid economic, technological, and ecological change, the government aims to support companies in a targeted way. These programs are designed to reduce risks, encourage investment in future-oriented areas, and strengthen the competitiveness of the economy.

In a joint free funding event organized by the District of Kitzingen, the Würzburg-Schweinfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Chamber of Crafts for Lower Franconia, companies will receive an overview of various funding programs at the EU, federal, and state level. Experts present at the event will be available to answer questions on specific programs.

Speakers from the Government of Lower Franconia, Bayern Innovativ, and the LfA Förderbank will provide short keynote presentations on selected funding programs, including:

• Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings (BEG)

• Guideline on the Promotion of Light and Heavy Commercial Vehicles with Alternative, Climate-Friendly Drives and Associated Charging and Refueling Infrastructure (battery-electric, plug-in hybrid, and fuel cell vehicles)

• BAFA Funding for Cooling and Air Conditioning Systems

• Federal Funding for Energy and Resource Efficiency in Business – Grant and Loan Programs

• Promotional Loans from LfA Förderbank Bayern
