Description

Markus Lindner, master automotive technician and managing director of Lindners Boxenstopp, discusses the opportunities and risks of his growth story

Peter Urbansky, a management consultant at the Chamber of Crafts for Lower Franconia, invites us to rediscover startups from a craftsman’s perspective. We’ll gather in the Chamber of Crafts’ main hall for a discussion. Refreshments will be provided. In line with this, Markus Lindner, master automotive technician and managing director of Lindners Boxenstopp, will discuss the opportunities and risks of his growth story.

Topic:
Craftsmen are relatively rare guests in the startup scene. Yet there are exciting new ventures, acquisitions, opportunities for digitalization, and shared challenges such as financing, bureaucracy, and a shortage of skilled workers. The event with the Chamber of Crafts aims to bring together supporters, founders, and those interested in starting a business from our network with members of the Chamber of Crafts’ target audience. Perhaps this will also spark interest in a follow-up event on June 25 organized by the Chamber of Crafts and ZDI on the topic “Startup Meets Crafts”?

Markus Lindner offers us a glimpse into a modern craft-based startup. Founded with just a few euros in a barn, Markus’s company has grown massively in recent years and has expanded to include three locations in Veitshöchheim and Euerhausen, as well as a VW dealership in Volkach. In his presentation, Markus will discuss the opportunities that lie in structured growth with strict standardization, in-house IT and marketing, automated processes, as well as innovative customer solutions such as on-site tire changes for large organizations. But Markus will also address the risks that can arise, for example, from improper financing or insurance, and how best to avoid them.

As always, the Founders’ Roundtable also offers you:

  • Networking among founders, young entrepreneurs, those interested in starting a business, and supporters (from business angels to investors)
  • Free exchange of experiences and information in a relaxed atmosphere

Upcoming dates: Always on the second Wednesday of even-numbered months!
