Climate neutrality is on everyone’s lips – but what does it actually mean?
Banks and rating agencies are beginning to assess companies based on their CO2 emissions and are asking for transformation plans. This will also affect the financing of new projects in the future.

The basis for creating such a concept is the analysis of current energy consumption, energy flows within the company, and their evaluation. Potential savings need to be identified, and the profitability of measures must be assessed.

The key challenge is the question of how fossil fuels can be replaced by renewable energy sources – and at what cost. What is technically feasible: electricity, hydrogen, environmental heat, biomass? And how will prices develop in the future?
