Innovation and Start-up Centre IGZ Würzburg The Innovation and Start-up Center (IGZ) Würzburg is the largest start-up center in Lower Franconia. Specializing in high-tech start-ups, the center offers young companies 3,000 m2 of office space and 2,500 m² of laboratory space for rent. It is the only center in the region with a focus on the life sciences and offers the necessary infrastructure (laboratory space), support services (consulting, coaching, training) and access to the relevant supra-regional "life science networks" for the successful development of start-ups in this field. The IGZ is a location partner of the Bavarian Biotechnology Cluster.

Centre for Digital Innovation ZDI Mainfranken The Center for Digital Innovation (ZDI) Mainfranken is a business incubator in Würzburg and is intended to represent the whole of Mainfranken. As a digital start-up center, the ZDI Mainfranken promotes the founding activities of digital start-ups. Together with cooperation partners - universities, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the start-up centers in Würzburg, Schweinfurt and Bad Kissingen - it forms a Mainfranken-wide start-up ecosystem at the interface between science and business. The ZDI Mainfranken is supported by companies from the region, the network partners. In addition to organizing events, the center is located in three buildings at Hubland in Würzburg: the Ideas Lab in the Tower, the Start-up Lab in the Cube and the Incubator.
